How to Remove a Virus

1. Enter Safe Mode – Booting into Safe Mode prevents many viruses from running.
2. Run a Full Antivirus Scan – Use an updated antivirus program to detect and quarantine threats.
3. Delete Temporary Files – This removes some hidden malicious scripts.
4. Restore the System – If the virus is too deep-rooted, a system restore or factory reset may be necessary.
