Removing a Trojan from a Computer

• Disconnect from the Internet – This prevents the Trojan from communicating with its remote server.
• Boot into Safe Mode – Running the system in Safe Mode can stop the Trojan from executing.
• Run a Full Antivirus Scan – Use reputable security software to detect and quarantine malicious files.
• Check Installed Programs & Processes – Uninstall suspicious applications and terminate unknown background processes.
• Restore or Reinstall the Operating System – If the infection is severe, a system restore or clean OS installation may be necessary.
