Removing Adware from a Computer

1. Uninstall Suspicous Programs – Check the installed applications list and remove unfamiliar or unwanted software.
2. Reset Web Browsers – Clear browser settings, cache, and extensions that may be linked to adware.
3. Run an Anti-Adware Scan – Use security tools to detect and remove adware infections.
4. Check the Hosts File & DNS Settings – Malicious adware may modify these settings to control network traffic.
5. Perform a System Restore – If adware persists, restoring the system to an earlier clean state may be necessary.
